This project required a true overhaul, starting with extensive prep on the heavily weathered and peeling exterior siding. Our biggest priority was meticulous prep: we pressure washed all surfaces to eliminate dirt and mildew, then moved into extensive scraping and sanding to remove all loose and flaking paint. The level of surface degradation called for particular attention to detail to ensure long-term adhesion and durability.
Once the surface was sound, we rolled on a full coat of exterior primer designed for raw and weathered wood. This created a stable foundation for the final finish. We then applied two full coats of high-quality exterior paint, giving the home a crisp, clean, and completely revitalized appearance.
The transformation was dramatic—not only visually, but structurally. The fresh paint not only modernized the aesthetic but also sealed and protected the wood underneath. This project is a testament to the power of proper prep and professional execution.
